545 kir mjnu hir sry siB iklibK nwsu mnw ] (545-1)kar majan har saray sabh kilbikh naas manaa. Take your cleansing bath in the Ambrosial Pool of the Lord, and all of your sins shall be wiped away, O my soul. kir sdw mjnu goibMd sjnu duK AMDyrw nwsy ] (545-1)kar sadaa majan gobind sajan dukh anDhayraa naasay. Take your cleansing ever in the Lord God, O friends, and the pain of darkness shall be dispelled. jnm mrxu n hoie iqs kau ktY jm ky Pwsy ] (545-2)janam maran na ho-ay tis ka-o katai jam kay faasay. Birth and death shall not touch you, and the noose of Death shall be cut away. imlu swDsMgy nwm rMgy qhw pUrn Awso ] (545-2)mil saaDhsangay naam rangay tahaa pooran aaso. Meeting together, the Saints sing God's Praises, and celebrate His Victory. imil sMq gwvih Ksm Bwvih hir pRym rs rMig iBMnIAw ] (545-4)mil sant gaavahi khasam bhaaveh har paraym ras rang bhinnee-aa. Meeting together, the Saints sing the Praises of the Lord Master; they are pleasing to the Lord, and saturated with the sublime essence of His love and affection. hir lwBu pwieAw Awpu imtwieAw imly icrI ivCuMinAw ] (545-5)har laabh paa-i-aa aap mitaa-i-aa milay chiree vichhunni-aa. They obtain the profit of the Lord, eliminate their self-conceit, and meet Him, from whom they were separated for so long. gih Bujw lIny dieAw kIn@y pRB eyk Agm Apwro ] (545-5)geh bhujaa leenay da-i-aa keenHay parabh ayk agam apaaro. Listen, O most fortunate ones, to the Ambrosial Bani of the Word of the Lord. ijn kau krim ilKI iqsu irdY smwxI rwm ] (545-7)jin ka-o karam likhee tis ridai samaanee raam. He alone, whose karma is so pre-ordained, has it enter into his heart. AkQ khwxI iqnI jwxI ijsu Awip pRBu ikrpw kry ] (545-7)akath kahaanee tinee jaanee jis aap parabh kirpaa karay. He alone knows the Unspoken Speech, unto whom God has shown His Mercy. Amru QIAw iPir n mUAw kil klysw duK hry ] (545-8)amar thee-aa fir na moo-aa kal kalaysaa dukh haray. He becomes immortal, and shall not die again; his troubles, disputes and pains are dispelled. hir srix pweI qij n jweI pRB pRIiq min qin BwxI ] (545-8)har saran paa-ee taj na jaa-ee parabh pareet man tan bhaanee. He finds the Sanctuary of the Lord; he does not forsake the Lord, and does not leave. God's Love is pleasing to his mind and body. ibnvMiq nwnk sdw gweIAY pivqR AMimRq bwxI ]3] (545-9)binvant naanak sadaa gaa-ee-ai pavitar amrit banee. ||3|| Prays Nanak, sing forever the Sacred Ambrosial Bani of His Word. ||3|| mn qn glqu Bey ikCu khxu n jweI rwm ] (545-10)man tan galat bha-ay kichh kahan na jaa-ee raam. My mind and body are intoxicated - this state cannot be described. ijs qy aupijAVw iqin lIAw smweI rwm ] (545-10)jis tay upji-arhaa tin lee-aa samaa-ee raam. We originated from Him, and into Him we shall merge once again. imil bRhm joqI Eiq poqI audku audik smwieAw ] (545-11)mil barahm jotee ot potee udak udak samaa-i-aa. I merge into God's Light, through and through, like water merging into water. jil Qil mhIAil eyku rivAw nh dUjw idRstwieAw ] (545-11)jal thal mahee-al ayk ravi-aa nah doojaa daristaa-i-aa. The One Lord permeates the water, the land and the sky - I do not see any other. bix iqRix iqRBvix pUir pUrn kImiq khxu n jweI ] (545-12)ban tarin taribhavan poor pooran keemat kahan na jaa-ee. He is totally permeating the woods, meadows and the three worlds. I cannot express His worth. ibnvMiq nwnk Awip jwxY ijin eyh bxq bxweI ]4]2]5] (545-12)binvant naanak aap jaanai jin ayh banat banaa-ee. ||4||2||5|| Prays Nanak, He alone knows - He who created this creation. ||4||2||5|| ibhwgVw mhlw 5 ] (545-13)bihaagarhaa mehlaa 5. The Saints go around, searching for God, the support of their breath of life. qwxu qnu KIn BieAw ibnu imlq ipAwry rwm ] (545-14)taan tan kheen bha-i-aa bin milat pi-aaray raam. They lose the strength of their bodies, if they do not merge with their Beloved Lord. pRB imlhu ipAwry mieAw Dwry kir dieAw liV lwie lIjIAY ] (545-14)parabh milhu pi-aaray ma-i-aa Dhaaray kar da-i-aa larh laa-ay leejee-ai. O God, my Beloved, please, bestow Your kindness upon me, that I may merge with You; by Your Mercy, attach me to the hem of Your robe. dyih nwmu Apnw jpau suAwmI hir drs pyKy jIjIAY ] (545-15)deh naam apnaa japa-o su-aamee har daras paykhay jeejee-ai. I have practiced chanting, intensive meditation and fasting, to see Your Feet, O Lord. qpiq n kqih buJY ibnu suAwmI srxw rwm ] (545-17)tapat na kateh bujhai bin su-aamee sarnaa raam. But still, my burning is not quenched, without the Sanctuary of the Lord Master. pRB srix qyrI kwit byrI sMswru swgru qwrIAY ] (545-18)parabh saran tayree kaat bayree sansaar saagar taaree-ai. I seek Your Sanctuary, God - please, cut away my bonds and carry me across the world-ocean. AnwQ inrguin kCu n jwnw myrw guxu Aaugxu n bIcwrIAY ] (545-18)anaath nirgun kachh na jaanaa mayraa gun a-ugan na beechaaree-ai. I am masterless, worthless, and I know nothing; please do not count up my merits and demerits. dIn dieAwl gopwl pRIqm smrQ kwrx krxw ] (545-19)deen da-i-aal gopaal pareetam samrath kaaran karnaa. O Lord, Merciful to the meek, Sustainer of the world, O Beloved, Almighty Cause of causes. nwnk cwiqRk hir bUMd mwgY jip jIvw hir hir crxw ]2] (545-19)naanak chaatrik har boond maagai jap jeevaa har har charnaa. ||2|| Nanak, the song-bird, begs for the rain-drop of the Lord's Name; meditating on the Feet of the Lord, Har, Har, he lives. ||2|| |
